How do I know if my images are hi-res?

80% of images downloaded by media are hi-res (300dpi). We always recommend reviewing image quality before committing an upload ;)

Here's how to view image specs on a mac:

  1. Find the image you want to check on your desktop (original file).

  2. Select 'Tools' at the top of the window, then 'Show Inspector'. 

  3. Alternatively, hold down 'command' + 'i'. 


Here's how to view image specs on a pc:

  1. Find the image you want to check on your desktop. 

  2. Right click on the image file.

  3. Select Properties, and then view the Summary tab.
